Hi, I’m Rachel Harp, Esthetician and owner of The Perfect Arch. As a lover of the fine arts, my focus has always been on creating and making art, and keeping up with current trends in the beauty and fashion industry. In 2005, I received an Art degree from Western Michigan University. A year later, I moved into the beauty field and became a licensed Esthetician.  Since my social skills and passion for working with people was so strong, I decided to combine the two. After working with and listening to clients, many of them said my artistic talent for shaping eyebrows was my specialty. I learned that with makeup and a little shaping, you can completely change a clients face by enhancing the brow. Add a pop of color and some mascara and you’re ready for a night out on the town.

rachel-2As I grew in my career, my work focused toward finding solutions for clients who have thinning or sparse brows, clients undergoing chemotherapy, or clients suffering from auto immune diseases like alopecia.  After meeting many women going through chemotherapy, one of their biggest complaints is the loss of their eyebrow hair. I wanted to help these women and make them feel as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside. Many of them complained about having to draw on their eyebrows everyday with cosmetics. One was always higher than the other, or the color just was not right! Also, most clients would say the products would melt off in the Arizona heat!  It was then I knew I had to find a more permanent solution besides just using brow makeup and cosmetics. As times change, eyebrow fashions can change throughout the years. Nowadays most want a full thick brow to enhance a more youthful appearance. The new ideal is a full, luscious arch. For a non-invasive semi permanent option consider Henna eyebrow tinting or Brow Lamination.
